Test Center
Prime Education is a conveniently located test center in the area that is authorized ETS. With 13 separate stations, our computer lab is open for registration for both test providers. Located just outside New York City, we mainly serve Southern Bergen and Northern Hudson Counties. Prime Education is a 15-minute drive away from Manhattan, and New Jersey Transit buses are regularly available from the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City. TOEFL® iBT
If you are NOT a U.S. citizen and are scheduled to take the TOEFL iBT test at our test center, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PASSPORT WITH YOU TO THE TEST CENTER.

ETS is the organization that oversees the TOEFL iBT test among others. Non-native English speakers who want to attend American colleges or universities are usually required to get a certain score on this test before being admitted to the program. The TOEFL iBT test is also widely used by businesses or government agencies internationally to verify the proficiency in the English language of their prospective employees. If you want to take the TOEFL iBT test at our test center, go to the ETS website to register. You can register online, by phone, or by mail. To register by phone or mail, please contact ETS directly by following the previous link. TOEFL iBT registrations are possible only through ETS; Prime Education does not accept TOEFL registrations directly.
Test Takers:
- The deadline for changing the institutions that you wish the scores to be sent to is 10:00 PM (22:00 hrs) local time the day before your scheduled test date. You can choose up to 4 institutions free of charge with your registration. To add more than 4 institutions or to change the institutions after the deadline, you must contact ETS directly, and there will be additional fees. Prime Education cannot add or change the institutions that the scores will be reported to.
- For test takers who are NOT U.S. Citizens please remember to bring your Passport. An alternate form of identification can be your Permanent Residence card (Green card) together with an additional photo ID with signature, such as a U.S. driver's license or school ID. Without these, you cannot be admitted to take the test. All forms of identifications must be current and valid. Please check the expiration dates to make sure that sure that the identifications are valid.
