Tuition

Does Prime Education provide any financial aid or loans?

Currently, Prime Education does not support any financial aid or loan programs. In the future, pending accreditation from federal government, we are seeking to offer federal loans such as the Stafford Loan.

How is the tuition calculated?

Tuition is calculated based on a per-semester basis. Students who enroll during the semester are only charged for the remainder of the course. Since most classes meet once or twice a week, and our semesters usually start every 12 weeks, a student will attend abound 12 or 24 classes for a single course during a semester. For information on rates of the classes and a more detailed class schedule, please go to our Schedule or Tuition pages, or contact our office.

Are there discounts?

We do have early registration and sibling discounts available for most programs during the year. Please contact our office for more detailed information on discounts.

What happens if I pay but do not attend classes?

A student may receive a refund if he or she cancels registration within 3 business days. There will be no refund after that point since classes and instructors are appointed according to enrollment. After 3 business days, full refund is available only in case of medical emergencies. The student must bring a written doctors report indicating that he or she is not able to attend classes to qualify for a refund.

Is transportation provided for the After-School programs?

Transportation to local areas is provided at an additional charge. Currently, the following towns are covered: Ridgefield, Fort Lee, Palisades Park, Fairview, Leonia, Edgewater, and Cliffside Park. We provide pick-up and drop-off services to and from schools and homes. The price for pick-up or drop-off only is $4 per day, and the cost for both pick-up and drop-off is $6 per day. Ride scheduling, pricing, and availability are subject to change, so please be sure to give us a call to confirm that the information is correct.

Can I observe classes at Prime Education before I register?

International Students

Can international students enroll at Prime Education?

Yes, they can. However, we do not issue I-20 certificates for international students. Students who enroll in our programs do so for a specific course that goes for a short period of time. Many international students attend our summer and winter programs while they are visiting friends and relatives in the United States. We will soon be authorized to issue I-20 certificates for international students. If you would like to be informed about it, please send your contact information to info@primenj.org with I-20 in the subject line.

Does Prime Education issue I-20 certificates?

No, we do not issue I-20 certificates at this time. For more information, please refer to Can international students enroll at Prime Education?
